He Is Risen: A Triumph That Changed Everything
“Why seek ye the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen.”
— Luke 24:5-6
The morning of the resurrection began like any other—quiet, heavy with sorrow. The stone lay over the tomb, sealed by Roman guards and shadowed by despair. For those who loved Jesus, it felt like the end. But heaven had written a different story.
And then… the earth shook. The stone rolled away. The tomb was empty. The world would never be the same again.
The Power of an Empty Tomb
When the women arrived, ready to anoint Jesus’ body with spices, they were met with angels and awe. “He is not here.” These words shattered centuries of fear, guilt, and death. The grave could not hold the Son of God. Sin had met its match. Death had been defeated.
Jesus didn’t just rise—He triumphed. And in His rising, He brought life, hope, and eternal promise to every soul who would believe.
What It Means for Us Today
He is risen. Not was, not once—He is. This declaration is alive, present, and eternal. It means:
Your sins can be forgiven. The cross wasn’t the end—it was the price paid for your redemption.
Your suffering is not the final chapter. Because He rose, so can you—from addiction, pain, fear, and despair.
There is victory after death. The resurrection is proof that the grave is not the final word.
The risen Christ meets us where we are—on the road of doubt like Thomas, by the water in our labor like Peter, or in our grief like Mary outside the tomb. And every time, His words are the same: “Peace be unto you.”
He Still Walks With Us
We don’t follow a figure in history—we follow a living Savior. One who knows our names. One who intercedes for us. One who walks beside us in silence, whispers truth to our hearts, and invites us to rise with Him each day.
The resurrection isn’t just a past event—it’s a present reality. Every sunrise is a reminder: He lives.
Come and See
If you’re weary, come and see. If you’ve lost your way, come and see. If you wonder whether God still cares, come and see the empty tomb—and the Risen Lord who calls your name.
He is risen. He is here. And He is calling you.
